A command post vehicle was created on the basis of the Novator-2 armored vehicle. Its main purpose is to protect unit commanders in combat areas and enhance troop management.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian Armor Company, the first batch of these vehicles has already been received by the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU). Earlier, the NGU had already received armored vehicles configured for medical evacuation based on the Novator-2.

It is noted that this command post vehicle was created according to the terms of reference from the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine and in close cooperation with the NGU. These command post vehicles are equipped with special communications equipment and have the capability to install electronic warfare systems for vehicle protection.
The vehicle has four workstations equipped with monitors, as well as unified equipment, allowing any unit to use it.
It is also noted that the Novator-2 command post vehicle has retained all the basic characteristics that have been repeatedly confirmed on the battlefield: speed, mobility, high ballistic and mine protection, obstacle-crossing ability, chemical and fire protection, etc.
