On the night of August 21, the russians complained about a drone attack in the Moscow region, claiming to have shot down around 10 drones

Serhiy Zgurets, CEO of Defense Express, mentioned on Espreso TV that the U.S. had previously opposed Ukrainian drone strikes on Moscow.

“The largest drone attack on the russian capital is still ahead. The enemies report that 8 or 10 drones were shot down over Moscow, and they also talk about 45 drones. This indicates a coordinated operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeting significant military and political sites within russia. The range of over 400 kilometers is well within the capabilities of Ukrainian drones. It’s important to note that previously, there was American opposition to Ukrainian drone strikes on Moscow, resulting in a temporary halt,” Zgurets explained.

According to the military expert, the Ukrainian side is conducting planned activities aimed at russian military airfields where russian frontline bombers are based.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces, relying on their own potential and the potential of unmanned systems, are taking measures that are complementary to the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk region,” Zgurets emphasized.
