The U.S. must reinforce the alliance to safeguard its own security and economy

During the Munich Security Conference, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasized the critical need for the United States to acknowledge russia as a direct adversary. In an interview with the BBC, he urged new American administration to reinforce NATO, arguing that a stronger alliance translates to greater economic and security benefits for the U.S.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk warned that if the U.S. fails to uphold its leadership of the free world, the consequences will be severe. He pointed out that in such a scenario, russian President Vladimir Putin would emerge victorious, along with other authoritarian regimes such as China, North Korea, and Iran. According to him, Vladimir Putin’s ultimate goal is to weaken and humiliate the United States.
