Ukrainian forces have destroyed four russian artillery guns and two field ammunition depots in the Pokrovsk sector after aerial reconnaissance detected russian firing positions, according to Ukraine's Air Assault Forces Command.
The strike involved both HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and French-made CAESAR 155 mm self-propelled howitzers.

The operation was carried out by aerial reconnaissance personnel of Ukraine's 147th Brigade. After detecting activity by russian artillery, the reconnaissance teams identified the enemy's firing positions and transmitted their coordinates to Ukrainian heavy-weapons crews.
The combination of reconnaissance and precision fires allowed Ukrainian forces to respond rapidly to the detected targets. HIMARS and CAESAR systems were then used to strike the positions.
According to the Ukrainian military, the strikes destroyed four russian artillery pieces along with their crews. Two field ammunition depots were also destroyed, further reducing the enemy's ability to sustain artillery operations in the area.
