The published video shows the work of one of the divisions of the brigade in three days.
Yuriy Biryukov said that three Russian 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2C19 "Msta-S" were hit with high-precision M982 Excalibur shells.
"406 artillery brigade + M777 + M982 Excalibur are the magic of the gods of war," said Yuriy Biryukov.
Although the video does not show the complete destruction of the self-propelled guns, but they were significantly damaged from the hits of the American Excalibur projectiles.
The Pentagon has been supplying the Ukrainian army with Excalibur high-precision guided missiles for a long time.
M982 Excalibur is an advanced precision guided 155mm artillery shell.
The key feature is that regardless of the distance from the gun and the target, the round has the same accuracy, with 'Circular Error Probability' less than 10 meters.
The round’s rear end is equipped with a base bleed aggregate and rotating stabilization wings and the front end has four canards. Wings and canards give the round an aircraft like maneuverability.
From a modern L52 calibre gun system Excalibur has a range of approximately 50km. The Lethal mechanism consists of a unitary warhead and the system can be programmed for air burst, point and delay (penetration) detonation.
These artillery shell can be fired from any modern NATO standard artillery system. These can be trailed American howitzers M777, wheeled French CAESAR, tracked German PzH 2000. In particular, the proven range of the Excalibur shot from the M777 with a barrel length of 39 calibers is 36 km. But the CAESAR with a 52-caliber barrel is capable of firing from it at 46 km, and the PzH 2000 at 48 km.
