The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided an update regarding the transfer of Su-25 attack aircraft from North Macedonia to Ukraine. New information about these warplanes was published during a briefing by the spokesman of the Air Force Command Yurii Ihnat, LIGA.net reports.
Commenting on the matter, Yurii Ihnat noted that the transfer of such equipment as aircraft, in particular the Soviet Su-25, is not an easy matter: "So far, it is in the process. From the first application to putting it into service a long time is needed. Let's hope that we will soon have them in service."

At the same time, when asked about the condition of these aircraft, Yuriy Ignat noted that a certain period of time must pass before these Su-25s can enter service with the Air Force.
As a reminder, the first report suggesting that Ukraine could receive four Macedonian Su-25 attack aircraft was released by MKD.mk in early August.
However, as of August 6, the Air Force did not confirm this information, noting that they currently have no official information either from sources in Macedonia or from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine about the transfer of these Su-25s. But later, the adviser to the head of the President's Office hinted that North Macedonia did transfer both tanks and planes to the Ukrainian Army.
