A total of 60 units of these vehicles, which were purchased in Jordan, are set to be added to the arsenal of the Ukrainian military

Currently, Cheetah systems target russian attack drones and cruise missiles as part of the air defense forces of the West Air Command.

It should be reminded that in May of last year, in one of the Pentagon reports, it was announced that the American company Global Military Products Inc is to deliver an unspecified number of Gepard systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces with deadlines set until May 30, 2024. The contract was executed in Jordan under the USAI - Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative.

Last November, it became known that the United States had bought 60 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft systems from Jordan to send to Ukraine. Currently, it is unknown whether Ukraine has received all these self-propelled anti-aircraft systems.

However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have used Gepard systems effectively, so the Cheetahs are expected to be a valuable addition to the fleet of these self-propelled anti-aircraft systems in the Ukrainian military.
