Denmark will make a second contribution of approximately $170 million as part of the ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom project, according to the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamyshin.
“Yesterday, Denmark announced an expansion of its support for Ukrainian arms manufacturers with additional 1.2 billion Danish kroner – approximately $170 million. Denmark was the first country to believe in the Ukrainian defense industry and made the first donation within the framework of the ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom project. Denmark is also the first country to donate a second time,” reads the statement.

Oleksandr Kamyshin highlighted that the implementation mechanism for this aid was agreed upon last week at the Ramstein meeting and documented in a memorandum signed by the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Danish Ministry of Defense. The first procurement is expected to begin this summer.
