What kind of weapons has the Czech Republic already provided to the Defense Forces of Ukraine

The Czech authorities have released summary data on the total amount of military support provided to Ukraine since the spring of 2022. It included not only the nomenclature of the transferred equipment and weapons, but also their officially declared value.

According to Defence24, the Czech government has announced the following nomenclature of equipment to be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

- 62 tanks (most likely T-72M1);

- 131 infantry fighting vehicles (most likely BVP-1);

- 13 howitzers (including wheeled Vz. 77 DANA);

- 12 multiple rocket launchers (including RM-70);

- 47 different types of vehicles;

- 6 Mi-24/Mi-35 attack helicopters;

- 16 air defense systems (including modernized 2K12M2 Kub-M2);

- 128 mortars of various calibers;

- 8,022 rocket-propelled grenades;

- over 40,000 units of small arms;

- nearly 85,000 artillery shells of various calibers;

- 4,900 122 mm rockets;

- 17,400 mortar grenades of various calibers;

- 645 anti-tank guided missiles;

- 4.2 million rounds for small arms.

The Czech government estimated this entire broad list of assistance at 6.2 billion CZK ($272 million).

According to Defence24, the Czech government did not specify the most important point in the nomenclature of supplies. These are components for Warsaw Pact equipment, which are extremely important for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It is also worth emphasizing that in the context of russia's material and technical superiority, every supply from the allies was, is and will be literally priceless for Ukraine.

Speaking about the list of equipment and weapons that have been manufactured or are currently being manufactured at the facilities of the Czech defense industry with money from other Western countries, the tentative list looks like this:

- 115 Victor anti-aircraft machine guns;

- 136 T-72AE tanks and several dozen BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles;

- 9 DITA wheeled self-propelled howitzers and "several dozen" of RM-70 MLRS.

Earlier Defense Express reported that South Korea had reconsidered its ban on Ukraine arms supply in response to russia's alliance with DPRK.
