July 31. Sumy Region’s village of Myropillia has come under enemy fire this morning.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram.

“Russians continue to destroy cemeteries in Sumy Region. Today Myropillia has come under enemy fire. The details of the morning shelling are as follows: Russians opened fire on the residential areas of the village at 05:30 a.m. Over 10 graves in a local cemetery were destroyed completely,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.

In his words, power transmission lines were damaged on several streets.

At least five households were hit by Russian projectiles. Civilian houses were left with broken windows, roofs, fences, garages and vehicles.

“Several houses were pierced with enemy projectile fragments: the walls, doors and heating systems broken,” Zhyvytskyi stressed.

July 31. Russian forces fired about 40 rockets at Mykolaiv early on July 31. It was one of the largest attacks since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, Hanna Zamazieieva, said this in a Telegram post.

"My city, the Hero City of Mykolaiv, is becoming a second Mariupol. [...] About 40 rockets were fired at Mykolaiv tonight. This is one of the largest attacks against the city since the beginning of the all-out invasion," she wrote.

She said the city is being purposefully killed and called on the whole world not to be silent, but to shout about the terrible actions of the terrorist country.

Early on July 31, after 01:00 and at around 05:00, Mykolaiv came under massive shelling.

Several infrastructure facilities were damaged by the shelling, including a hotel, a sports center, two educational institutions and a service station. Residential buildings were also damaged.

July 31. The Russians fired mortars and artillery on Myropillia community in Sumy region, hitting a local farm, where a fire broke out.

"At about 05:30, the Russians opened massive fire from mortars and tube artillery on our Myropillia community. More than 50 strikes. Enemy shells hit a local farm. A fire is raging," Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

July 31. Law enforcers have discovered another body of a civilian tortured by the Russians during the occupation of parts of Kyiv region.

That’s according to Kyiv Police Department chief Andrii Nebytov, who delivered the news on Telegram.

"The occupiers brutally tortured a civilian in Nove Zalissia. We found the body next to what once was a Russian position," Nebytov informed.

According to him, the man’s hands were tied with a rope through a towing cable iron clip.

The rope was also wound around the neck. Everything indicates that the man was being strangled before he died," the chief law enforcer elaborated.

Nebytov noted that "this is the second burial site we have found here."

"A few months ago, the body of a murdered IDP from Donetsk was found across the street. Another terrible testimony of the war crimes committed by the aggressors," added the Kyiv region’s chief policeman.

July 30. Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych has shown the effects of Russia’s shelling of Mykolaiv with the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), which took place last night. Casualties among civilians were reported; houses and cars were damaged.

The relevant photographs were posted by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych on Telegram.

“The effects of the night shelling of Mykolaiv. Houses in two districts of the city were damaged: windows and doors were broken; balconies were destroyed. The full scale of damage is being now estimated by district administrations and public utility departments,” Sienkevych wrote.

July 30. Russian troops have opened fire on 17 settlements in Donetsk Region. Casualties among civilians were reported. The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine.

In particular, the following settlements came under enemy fire: Avdiivka, Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Velyka Novosilka, Krasnohorivka, Sloviansk, Zalizne, Kamianka, Vodiane, Ivanivske, Kurdiumivka, Yasnobrodivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske and New York.

Russians struck cities and villages with aviation and R-500 Iskander-K missiles, artillery and Grad MLRS, leaving civilians killed and injured.

The enemy damaged and destroyed 52 civilian objects, namely 37 residential houses, hospital, outpatient department, bus station in Sloviansk, railway infrastructure, coke and chemical plant, etc.

July 30. As a result of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, 2,199 educational facilities were damaged in the country, of which 225 were completely destroyed.

That’s according to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrinform reports.

"2,199 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces. Of them, 225 were completely destroyed," reads the statement posted on Telegram.

It is noted that the number of children killed and injured as a result of the Russian invasion has not changed as of July 30. It’s 358 and 693, respectively. In total, more than 1,051 children were injured as a result of Russia’s actions.

The PGO informs that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to verify data coming from the zones of active hostilities, temporarily captured and liberated territories.

The agency states that the largest numbers of children casualties were reported in Donetsk region (363), Kharkiv region (195), Kyiv region (116), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (61), Mykolaiv region (57), Kherson region (54), and Zaporizhia region (40).

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 28, the PGO said more than 1,051 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale Russian invasion.

July 30. On the night of July 30, another air raid alert was declared in Kharkiv due to the threat of Russian shelling. Soon, explosions rang out in the city.

According to Suspilne, air raid sirens started to sound at about 02:00. At approximately 02:23, residents of Kharkiv began to report on social about powerful explosions.

Some local Telegram channels posted photos showing a massive fire that broke out following the expositions in one of Kharkiv's districts. It can be seen from different parts of the city.

No official information has been published so far.

On the morning of July 29, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kharkiv. As a result, a two-story building and a building of the higher education institution were damaged. July 30. At night, Russian forces struck Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region with multiple launch rocket systems.

Yevhen Yevtushenko, the head of the Nikopol Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"At 02:31, the city of Nikopol was shelled with multiple rocket launchers," he wrote.

The governor has not provided any other details.

On the night of July 29, about 40 rockets were launched at a residential district of Nikopol. About 30 buildings were damaged. In the morning, the enemy struck the city with incendiary ammunition.

July 29. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, and the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, demand that the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross respond to Russia's terrorist attack in Olenivka, Donetsk region.

That’s according to a joint statement released by the Ukrainian Ombudsman in relation to the mass murder of Ukrainian prisoners of war on July 29 in the village of Olenivka, Ukrinform reports.

"We demand that the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, which acted as guarantors of the lives and health of Ukrainian prisoners of war, immediately respond to the terrorist act committed by the Russian Federation," the statement emphasizes.

Its authors demand that the inspection mission, consisting of the UN and ICRC officials, the Ukrainian Ombudsman, and representatives of the Joint Center for the Search and Release of Prisoners, be Donetsk region.

As recalled by the signatories, on the night of July 29, an explosion rocked the former correctional colony No. 210 in Olenivka, a settlement in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. As a result, the building in which Ukrainian prisoners of war had been held was destroyed. It is noted that, according to the Russian reports, more than 50 captured Ukrainian defenders were killed, while the number of wounded remains unclear.

According to the comments issued by the Russian side, not a single penitentiary administration staffer, “DPR” militant, or Russian soldier guarding the premises was injured by the blast. "Immediately after the explosion, Russia accused Ukraine of shelling a penal colony with American weapons and killing Ukrainian soldiers," the statement said.

According to the Ukrainian military and law enforcement, the explosion is a cynical terrorist act on the part of the Russian Federation, a military provocation, and a classic false flag operation, aimed to cover up war crimes, compromise the Armed Forces, disrupt the supply of Western weapons, and destabilize Ukraine.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the Ukrainian Army strikes target exclusively Russian military facilities: fuel, arms, and ammunition depots, command and control posts, and military infrastructure facilities.

It is noted that the Ukrainian Army has sufficient means to identify targets, including space reconnaissance systems, but Ukraine fired no missiles and artillery shells at Olenivka.

Also, the authors of the statement remind that the format of the Mariupol defenders’ evacuation from the territory of the Azovstal plant provided for a ceasefire and surrender of the Ukrainian military as prisoners of war, with their subsequent exchange under the guarantees of the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

It is noted that this format was chosen and approved by the Mariupol defenders, who took part in the negotiations. In particular, on June 29, the first of the scheduled swaps took place, as a result of which 144 Ukrainian servicemen returned to Ukraine, including 95 Azovstal defenders.

The key condition of the chosen format was for Russia to undertake commitment to international organizations regarding the preservation of the lives and health of Ukrainian defenders, military and law enforcement officials emphasized, and stated that this guarantee was cynically violated.

It is also stressed that multiple pieces of evidence testify to the pre-planned nature of the crime committed against Ukrainian POWs.

In particular, it is about the deliberate transfer of POWs to a new barrack shortly before the explosion occurred, the nature of the damage and the blast wave, invaders’ communications intercepts, the absence of shelling traces in the specified location, and other evidence.

"All this leaves no doubt: the explosion in Olenivka was a Russian terrorist act and a gross violation of international agreements," the authors of the statement are convinced.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian military deliberately attacked the facility where Ukrainian POWs were held.

The General Staff decried the Kremlin's statements about the alleged shelling of civilian infrastructure and population by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as “blatant lies and provocation.”

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Ukrainian POWs could have been killed by mercenaries with the Wagner (Liga) Private Military Company, integrated into the Russian invasion forces.

July 29. About 40 Ukrainian prisoners have been killed and 130 injured in Russia’s shelling of Olenivka, Donetsk Region. Ukrainian law enforcement officers opened a criminal proceeding.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram.

“The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 2 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the report states.

According to the investigative data, on July 29, 2022, the aggressor state struck the area of Correctional Facility No. 120 in the temporarily occupied village of Olenivka, Volnovakha District, Donetsk Region. As a result, about 40 people were killed and 130 injured.

In this facility, Russian invaders unlawfully keep civilians and Ukrainian prisoners of war. The pre-trial investigation is underway.

A reminder that, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops deliberately launched an artillery strike on a correctional facility in Olenivka, where Ukrainian prisoners of war were kept. The General Staff stressed that the Kremlin’s claims about the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly opening fire on civilians and civilian infrastructure are a blatant lie and provocation.

In Donetsk Region’s Olenivka, near Mariupol, two filtration prisons were established by Russian invaders. Here, they keep former law enforcement officers, pro-Ukrainian activists, the ‘unfaithful’ until they are sentenced or undergo filtration procedures, and volunteers who evacuated Mariupol residents. It was also reported that the Ukrainian servicemen taken captive in Mariupol had been brought there.

July 29. In Kramatorsk, a body of a killed man was removed from rubble at the site of a missile strike on a residential building.

"While clearing away the rubble, a body of a killed man was discovered. In total, two people were killed and five were injured (two of them were rescuers, they were hospitalized) in a strike," the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

July 29. Today, Russian troops shelled the Semenivka territorial community in Chernihiv region, launching a strike from across the border. As a result of the attack, an administrative building was damaged.

"Today, July 29, 2022, from 05:10 to almost 06:00 in the morning, the Semenivka Territorial Community was shelled from the Russian Federation’s territory with barrel artillery. As a result, an administrative building was damaged," the statement reads.

July 29. Russian invaders again shelled the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk region.

Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk city military-civil administration, said on Telegram.

“The city came under fire again... Many multi-storey buildings in the city center were damaged. The enemy probably launched a missile strike. One person was injured," Liakh said. He added that the city was partially left without electricity.

July 29. Russian troops shelled the Semenivka territorial community in Chernihiv region, launching a strike from across the border. As a result of the attack, an administrative building was damaged.

That’s according to Operational Command North, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, July 29, 2022, from 05:10 to almost 06:00 in the morning, the Semenivka Territorial Community was shelled from the Russian Federation’s territory with barrel artillery. As a result, an administrative building was damaged," the statement reads.

According to the Command, as of this time, no information on casualties has been received.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, as of the morning of July 29, an enemy offensive was repulsed near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, and Velyka Novosilka.

July 29. At night, the enemy struck Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk region.

"The Russian army hit Nikopol with Grad MLRS. They deliberately fired at a residential quarter. More than 40 rockets were launched. Six private houses and commercial buildings were damaged,” Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Moreover, a power line was affected. Several thousand residents of Nikopol’s private sector have been left without electricity. The emergency teams of electricians work at the scene.

According to preliminary information, people were not injured.

Fragments of rocket shells are scattered in the places of shelling. The State Emergency Service specialists work there.

July 28. Russian invaders have struck the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk Region, with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) four times, leaving three civilians killed and three injured.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram.

“Bakhmut has come under Russian fire again. Today Russians have struck the city with the Uragan MLRS four times. At least three civilians were reported killed and three injured. Six apartment blocks and six detached houses were damaged,” Kyrylenko wrote.

July 28. Russian missiles hit the hangars of an aircraft company in Kropyvnytskyi. Two missiles struck the hangars of the Flight Academy of the National Aviation University. Five people, including a military service member, were killed. Two civilian planes and an An-26 aircraft were destroyed.The number of people injured by a missile strike on the Kirovohrad region has now increased to 26.

Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post/

"There are currently 26 wounded. One is in serious condition. One of them refused to be hospitalized," Raikovych said.

He also added that according to detailed information, the enemy attacked Kropyvnytskyi with Kalibr cruise missiles.

On July 27, 2022, two boys, 14 and 12, were injured in Russia’s shelling of two villages in Mykolaiv District, Mykolaiv Region. A 12-year-old boy was also injured in Russia’s mortar strike on the village of Prudianka, Kharkiv Region.

July 28. In the morning of July 28, 2022, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv, having caused damage to the premises of Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, two apartment blocks, and practically destroyed a local school.Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych has shown the effects of Russia’s missile attack on a water plant of Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding.

In his words, windows were damaged in the apartment blocks and broken in the church located nearby.

It is worth noting that the water plant is situated in one of the most popular recreation places in Mykolaiv, within the territory of a local yacht club.

July 28. Russian invaders this morning launched a missile attack on an infrastructure facility in one of the communities of the Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region.

Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post.

"Information about casualties is being clarified. All emergency services are already working on the spot," Kuleba said.

July 27. Also, Ukrainian pilots are told to be so skillful in engaging their targets that the invaders don't even have time to detect their warplanes on radars.

That’s according to a call of a Russian soldier stationed in Kherson region, intercepted by the Security Service of Ukraine.

"We sit there and listen to the radio comms. Our air defense guys say: readiness 1, two planes to arrive soon, within 10-15 minutes. And then their next message is: they have already engaged us and flew off. That's it," the invader tells his parents.

And this is not a communication delay on the part of the Russians, but the top skills of Ukrainian pilots, the SBU stresses.

At the same time, the enemy continues to actively use internationally-proscribed types of weapons - phosphorus and cluster munitions.

"We drop phosphorus... cluster... No one gives a damn... Everything melts there... Also, it looks beautiful at night..." the invader admits.

The SBU systematically records violations of the laws and customs of war, committed by the invaders. More than 7,000 criminal proceedings have already been initiated into such cases.

July 27. Rescuers retrieved the body of one more person from under the rubble of a hotel in Bakhmut, the State Emergency Service reports. As of 2:00 p.m., the bodies of two dead people were found in the destroyed building, one person was rescued from the rubble, and three others were injured. Works are in progress.

July 27. Ten apartment blocks, trade pavilions, and cottages were damaged in today's strikes on Mykolayiv city. "About ten apartment blocks were damaged as a result of today's strikes. Some windows and balconies were broken. Currently, employees of the district administration and the housing and communal services department are inspecting the damages," Mykolayiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych posted on Telegram. July 27. On Wednesday morning, Russian aggressors hit Kharkiv's Industrial District with S-300 missiles.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov broke the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports. "At 4:25, Kharkiv's Industrial district was shelled. Two hits by S-300 missiles," the mayor wrote. According to Terekhov, rescue teams are working at the scene of the strikes.

"Their tentative report suggests there are no casualties," Terekhov added. As reported, on the night of July 26, Russian troops shelled an area close to downtown Kharkiv.

July 26. In the evening of July 26, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on Dnipropetrovsk Region’s Novosemenivka with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The relevant statement was made by Apostolove Mayor Andrii Osa on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Tonight the enemy has shelled Novosemenivka with cluster munitions, using the Uragan MLRS. The power grid was damaged, and the village was left without electricity supply services. The repair crew will restore services tomorrow. No casualties or destructions were reported,” Osa wrote.

According to Kryvyi Rih Military Administration Head Oleksandr Vilkul, in addition to the Apostolove community, Russian invaders continue to open fire on Kryvyi Rih District and all over the contact line.

“In the village of Koshove, a power transmission line was damaged. Russian orcs also shelled Velyka Kostromka. The power grid was damaged, and a fire broke out in the field of two hectares in area,” Vilkul noted.

July 26. The majority of residents of Mariupol, temporarily occupied by Russian troops, live beyond all humanitarian norms.

"The majority of residents of Livoberezhny district and remote neighborhoods of Kalmiusky district continue to live beyond all humanitarian boundaries of humanity. Bonfires, weapon boxes as firewood, yards full of trash, washing from buckets. The Middle Ages settled in Mariupol together with the occupiers," Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to Mariupol mayor, posted on Telegram.

He released videos of destroyed houses, littered damaged streets, where people cook food on bonfires near their porches.

As reported, Mariupol experiences one of the biggest humanitarian disasters caused by Russia's aggression. The city was almost completely destroyed as a result of enemy shelling.

Now Mariupol has no normal electricity, water, and gas supplies. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, about 22,000 civilians have died in the city. More than 50,000 people have been deported to Russia and the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region.

Currently, more than 100,000 residents remain in the blocked city. Mariupol is on the verge of environmental disaster and an outbreak of infectious diseases.

The Russian invaders declared collaborator Kostiantyn Ivashchenko as the "mayor" of Mariupol and create a picture of "restoration of the life of the city".

July 25. On July 25, Russian troops once again shelled five communities of Sumy region from their territory, opening fire from mortars, artillery, and Grad MLRS.

“At about 08:30, there were four strikes from Grad MLRS on Esman community. At 11:00, the Russians fired tube barrel artillery, three explosions were recorded,” Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

At 14:00, the Russians fired three mortar rounds on Bilopillia community. At 15:00, artillery shelling on Znob-Novhorodske community with ten explosions were recorded.

At 20:30, Russian troops opened fire from mortars on Seredyna-Buda community. Six explosions were recorded.

July 10. Russia has killed 347 Ukrainian children and injured more than 648 children since the start of the full-scale invasion.

"More than 995 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation in our country. As of the morning of July 10, 2022, the official number of killed children did not change over the past day: 347. The number of injured children increased: more than 648," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram. It is emphasized that the figures are not final as efforts are ongoing to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

"Most children were affected in Donetsk region – 348, Kharkiv region – 187, Kyiv region – 116, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 61, Mykolaiv region – 53, Kherson region – 52, Zaporizhzhia region – 31. On July 9, as a result of yet another Russian attack on residential buildings in Kharkiv city center, a 12-year-old girl was injured," the Prosecutor General's Office added.

As reported, the Russian invaders have killed 100 Ukrainian athletes and coaches, four more have been injured, and 22 are held captive.

July 9. As a result of the shelling of Kryvyi Rih by the Russian occupiers, a kindergarten worker and a 20-year-old athlete were killed. This is reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Prosecutor's Office.

"On the morning of July 9, 2022, the enemy army of the Russian Federation launched a rocket attack with prohibited cluster munitions on one of the districts of the city of Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the enemy attack, a 41-year-old woman died on the spot. A 20-year-old athlete and her father, who were training on the sports field, received multiple shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized. The girl died in the intensive care unit of the hospital from injuries incompatible with life," the message reads. High-rise buildings, premises of a school, a kindergarten and cars of citizens were damaged.

There are no military facilities in this area, the prosecutor's office said.

July 9. Russian forces fired missiles at three communities in the Sumy region early on Saturday.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post.

"The night of July 9 was quiet, but the morning began with shelling. After seven o'clock in the morning, a Russian helicopter fired two rockets at the Bilopillia community. At half past seven, five rockets fired from a multiple launch rocket system hit the Khotin community. At around 07:45, a Russian helicopter shelled the Myropillia community," he wrote.

Information about victims and destruction is being clarified.

On July 8, the enemy shelled the Sumy region 18 times. Five communities of the region came under fire. A farmer in the Krasnopillia community was injured.

July 9. In the morning of July 9, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on Kryvyi Rih’s Inhuletskyi District with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

“The enemy continues to terrorize our cities and villages. This morning Russian troops have opened fire on Kryvyi Rih’s Inhuletskyi District. The enemy deliberately struck the residential areas with the Grad MLRS. A 41-year-old woman was killed, and two more civilians with shrapnel wounds were taken to hospital. A school and several houses were damaged. A car parked nearby burnt down,” Reznichenko wrote.

A reminder that, on July 8, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky paid a working visit to Dnipropetrovsk Region’s Kryvyi Rih District to hold a meeting on the operational situation.

July 8. In the city of Slovyansk, Donetsk oblast, a woman died as a result of night shelling and a direct hit to a private house, the mayor of the city, Vadym Lyakh, said.

July 8. UNESCO understands that the Ukrainian culture is an important part of world heritage. This was noted by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tkachenko, on Telegram as he spoke about the meeting with the delegation of the UNESCO Secretariat, where the terms of cooperation were discussed.

"Before the war, we never dreamed of such a pace in resolving issues and a mode of assistance. UNESCO is well aware that the culture of Ukraine is an important part of the world's cultural heritage," Tkachenko said.

He added that during the meeting the parties discussed "the creation of a digital platform of the cultural heritage of Ukraine, initiated by the ministry.

Tkachenko noted that the Ministry and UNESCO agreed on active cooperation in identifying and documenting Russian war crimes on the territory of Ukraine, joining efforts in the field of preservation of Ukrainian cultural monuments, as well as on the creation in the future of a "special fund under the UNESCO auspices to finance cultural sphere of Ukraine both now and post war."

July 8. The Russians have completely stopped the water supply in occupied Mariupol, said Petro Andryushchenko, the city mayorʼs advisor. The occupiers say that the official reason is repair work.

But according to Andryushchenko, in reality the power grids could not withstand the heat. Due to the blackout, the only pumping station in the city does not work.

July 8. Five civilians were killed as a result of enemy strikes on Bakhmut and Siversk on July 7-8. The criminal proceedings were initiated.

"According to the investigation data, on July 7-8, 2022, Siversk and Bakhmut came under heavy fire opened by the Russian army. After the strikes, five civilians died in the intensive care unit of the hospital. Three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were injured by the occupiers' shells. July 7. In Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region, the Russians steal the property of local residents, plunging the city into a humanitarian disaster.

"Every day, the National Police receives about fifty reports on destroyed housing in Luhansk region. IDPs find out that they have nowhere to return from their neighbors, who had been deported by the Russians, or from those, who had previously left for the occupied territory and now visited their hometowns and villages. For example, 80 percent of housing in Sievierodonetsk was destroyed or damaged," Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, posted on Facebook.

According to him, some people try to return to take away their belongings. However, after paying a big sum to an illegal carrier, these people often find an empty apartment, even if it not damaged.

"After entering the city, the Russians first deported part of the local population, took away the keys, and then began to steal everything they saw. They drive trucks to apartment blocks. If the furniture is good, they take it away. Now it's not just about household appliances," Haidai emphasized.

July 7. The Russian invaders killed six civilians and injured 21 more in Donetsk region.

"On July 7, the Russians killed six civilian residents of Donetsk region: in Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, Avdiivka, Siversk, Pokrovske, and Orlivka. Another 21 people were injured," Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

According to the released infographics, since the beginning of the full-scale war in Donetsk region, the Russians have killed 583 and injured 1,517 civilians.

July 7. Three people were killed and five were injured due to shelling in the Nemyshlyansky district of Kharkiv.

Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the oblast military administration, reported, that the occupantsʼ fire had destroyed residential buildings, garages, containers and outbuildings.

In total , four people were killed and nine were injured in the Kharkiv oblast during the day.

July 7. The military forces of the Russian Federation destroy villages with civilian residents by artillery in order to reach the administrative border of Luhansk region.

"They are firing incessantly all types of heavy weapons on Bilohorivka and Zolotarivka. Tube and rocket artillery is used. They [Russians] hit houses, every building they see as a possible fortification. In order to advance, they don't count their losses and don't feel sorry for the residents of the region," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Facebook.

The fact that civilians die in their houses and yards does not stop the Russian troops, he added.

The situation is similar in the localities of Donetsk region which neighbor Luhansk region.

"But our armed forces hold the fort. Much was said, allegedly that Russians encircled us in Lysychansk, propaganda mouthpieces even talked about several cauldrons. I would like to emphasize that our troops retreated from Lysychansk in a centralized manner. Even those fighters, who covered the retreat, inflicted significant losses on the Russians," the head of Luhansk region emphasized.

July 7. On Thursday evening, fires broke out in four different areas in Kharkiv as a result of Russian shelling. The State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram.

On July 7, after 17:00, the State Emergency Service received calls to four addresses at once following the enemy shelling of a residential quarter and a private sector in Kharkiv's Nemyshlianskyi district. Rescuers extinguished the fires.

According to preliminary data, three civilians were killed and two were injured.

July 7. The enemy constantly shells the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. Casualties have been reported in the past 24 hours.

"Avdiivka is under shelling 24 hours a day. Since yesterday evening, Russians have shelled the city more than 10 times [...] It is already known about one dead and two wounded persons, but the final figures have yet to be determined, as well as the extent of the destruction," the head of the region wrote.

According to him, the invaders, as always, hit the civilian infrastructure: a hospital, residential quarters, a bus depot, as well as a coke and chemical plant.

Kyrylenko once again called on the residents of the city to evacuate from Avdiivka, because it is dangerous to remain there.

As reported, Russia constantly shells, killing and injuring citizens, destroying the civilian infrastructure of populated areas of the region.

July 7. Ukraine’s law enforcement officers have registered 21,897 crimes of aggression and war crimes committed by Russian military in Ukraine since the full-scale Russian invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, according to the PGO, Russian military committed 21,897 crimes of aggression and war crimes, of which 21,093 were violations of laws and customs of war.

Law enforcement officers also registered 10,727 crimes against the national security, including 7,510 crimes related to the encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

In addition, 623 unified cases related to the Russian aggression in Ukraine were registered.

"Everyone knows that the Russians persecute local residents with pro-Ukrainian views or those who simply refuse to cooperate with the occupiers. In Kreminna, terror has reached such a level that people are shot dead in the streets. Local collaborators help the occupiers as they hint at people with a pro-Ukrainian stance, indicate their exact addresses," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Facebook.

July 7. The Russian troops struck 16 localities in Donetsk region over the past day. Casualties were reported.

"The police documented 28 enemy strikes on 16 localities. The Russians fired S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, Uragan, Grad MLRS, artillery, and tanks at the population," the National Police of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Zhelanne, Vesela Dolyna, Kalynove, Karlivka, Karpivka, Klishchiyivka, Kodema, Lastochkyne, Maksymilyanivka, Netaylove, Pervomayske, and Solovyove came under fire.

Forty-seven civilian objects were destroyed: 27 residential buildings, including four apartment blocks, a school, a kindergarten, a technical school, a college, a hospital, a social service center, an administrative building, and a transformer.

The National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

July 7. Eighteen people were injured in Russian shelling of the Mykolaiv region in the past 24 hours.

Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Hanna Zamazeyeva said this in a Telegram post.

"The occupiers continue shelling the Mykolaiv region. Settlements of Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts came under shelling. Attacks were recorded in Ochakiv, Shyroke, Bereznehuvate, Pervomaiske, Kutsurub and Halytsynove communities. Overall, 18 people were injured in the Mykolaiv region over the past day," Zamazeyeva wrote.

July 6. In Kharkiv, a security guard was killed in the university building, shelled by Russian invaders overnight Wednesday.

This was reported on Telegram by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

"The investigation has learned that on July 6, at around 1 a.m., the military of the aggressor power shelled the Kyivsky district of Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, the building of a local higher education facility suffered significant damage. A security guard, 40, was killed," the statement reads.

A pre-trial inquiry has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Police officers and prosecutors inspected the scene as a joint team. The case will later be forwarded to the Security Service (SBU) Office in Kharkiv region.

Memo. The Russian forces opened fire from the territory of Russia’s Belgorod region at the Novobavarskyi, Kyivskyi, and Osnovyanskyi districts of Kharkiv. The university building and part of the administrative premises were destroyed in the attack.

Over the past day, three people, including a two-year-old toddler, were injured by Russian shelling across Kharkiv region.

July 6. A total of 346 children have been killed and over 645 injured in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.

“As of July 6, 2022, over 991 children in Ukraine were affected by the Russian armed aggression. According to the data from juvenile prosecutors, a total of 346 children were killed and over 645 injured,” the report states.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, firing at Ukrainian cities and villages with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.

July 5. Russian troops extensively shelled Mykolaiv Region, leaving two civilians killed, military and civilian objects destroyed.

“Mykolaiv District. At about 11:20 a.m., July 5, 2022, one civilian was killed in Russia’s shelling of the village of Zasillia in the Pervomaisk community. The Shyroke community came under enemy fire in the morning and in the afternoon of July 5, 2022. One residential house was destroyed, one more damaged, and a tractor burnt down.

In the Bereznehuvate community, Russian invaders are opening fire on settlements all over the demarcation line. The data on casualties and damage are yet to be checked.

According to the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv Region, as Russian projectiles and their fragments hit military and civilian objects in Mykolaiv Region on July 5, 2022, four fires broke out.

July 5. One person has been killed and seven others injured by today's massive shelling by the Russian invaders of the city of Sloviansk.

The Sloviansk city civil-military administration said this in a Telegram post, referring to Vadym Liakh, head of the civil-military administration.

"According to preliminary data, today's massive shelling of the city killed one person and injured seven others. [...] Due to the strikes, the central market caught fire. Russian troops launched a massive attack on Sloviansk on July 3, killing six people and injuring 15 more. Up to 15 fires broke out in the city.

Some 144 civilians were evacuated from the city on July 5, including 20 children.

Russian troops have been constantly shelling the Donetsk region, killing and injuring citizens, destroying the civilian infrastructure of populated areas in the region.

July 5. Russian forces have shelled the area near the village of Bleshnia, Chernihiv region. Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post.

"The enemy continues shelling border areas in the Chernihiv region! An hour ago, the Russians shelled the area near the village of Bleshnia (Semenivka community). We have 40 explosions (they probably fired from multiple launch rocket systems) and 10 explosions probably caused by artillery fire. So far there are no casualties or destruction," the statement said.

July 5. Ukrainian law enforcement officers are investigating Russia’s missile strike on Sumy Region’s Shostka, which destroyed a local enterprise and caused damage to over 100 flats. The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram.

The pre-trial investigation was opened over the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

At 04:00 a.m., July 5, 2022, the Russian military launched a missile attack on civil infrastructure in the city of Shostka, using the means of warfare prohibited by the international law.

As a result, a private enterprise was destroyed, and the light motor vehicles parked within its area were damaged. At least 24 residential high-rise buildings were damaged by a blast wave.

July 5. In the morning of July 5, Russian troops fired two rockets at the city of Shostka, the Sumy region. Mayor Mykola Noha posted on his Facebook page. "This morning at around 04:00, the ruscists fired two rockets at our community! The fire was extinguished! The commission is working to clarify the damages!" he wrote. July 5. In the morning of July 5, Russian invaders launched a rocket attack on Mykolaiv and continued to shell communities in the region.

The press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration said this in a Facebook post.

"In the morning of July 5, the occupiers fired rockets at Mykolaiv. Rescuers, medics, emergency teams and utility workers are already working at the scene. Details are being clarified," the report says.

The police and Ukraine's SBU State Security Service opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

July 3. Law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings over today's morning shelling of Kharkiv.

That's according to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, Ukrinform reports.

Under the procedural guidance of the Novobavarska District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation has been launched as part of criminal proceedings on the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on July 3, at 04:00, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv.

The missile hit the territory of a private house, wounding a 54-year-old woman.

July 3. A total of 31,321 crimes have been registered in Ukraine by law enforcement officers as part of the Russian invasion.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A total of 20,940 crimes of aggression and war crimes committed by the Russian military have been registered, namely 20,165 crimes related to the breaking of laws and customs of war, 73 crimes related to planning, preparing for, starting and waging an aggressive war, 19 crimes related to the propaganda of war and 683 other crimes,” the report states.

July 2. A civilian was injured in Russian strikes at the town of Derhachi, Kharkiv region.

"As a result of the enemy shelling during the day, one civilian was injured in Derhachi," Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of Derhachi territorial community, posted on Facebook.

Zadorenko informed that today, July 2, Russian troops had fired artillery and mortars at Derhachi, Bezruky, Slatyne, Prudianka, Tsupivka, Dementiyivka, Pytomnyk, and Ruska Lozova. The invaders launched airstrikes near Prudianka, and also opened fire from tanks on Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Dementiyivka, Tsupivka, and Slatyne.

July 2. The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine and IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi have reached a full understanding that it is impossible to ensure the safety of the agency's mission at the Zaporizhia NPP while it remains occupied by the Russian military.

That’s according to the agency’s statement issued by the press services.

"At the meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, a mutual understanding was reached that it is not possible to ensure the safety of the IAEA mission to the Zaporizhia NPP, in the conditions of the NPP’s occupation by Russian troops. The only solution that can ensure the safe operation of the NPP is its complete de-occupation and return to Ukraine’s control. The parties agreed to do everything possible to achieve this goal," the statement reads.

The inspection also drew Mr. Grossi's attention to the fact that Russia, in its presentation posted on the closed website of the United Convention on June 29, 2022, indicated the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol as constituent part of the Russian Federation.

"Such actions on the part of the Russian Federation are an attempt to legitimize the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, which contradicts a number of resolutions of the UN General Assembly. The Director General of the IAEA supported Ukraine's position on the said issue," the regulator added.

As reported, the Zaporizhia NPP has been temporarily occupied by Russian troops since March 4. July 2. The Russian army continues to employ "inaccurate" air-launched anti-ship missiles in a secondary land attack role, likely because of dwindling stockpiles of more accurate modern weapons.

According to the UK Ministry of Defense said this in its latest intelligence update published on Twitter.

The ministry said that analysis of CCTV footage shows the missile that impacted the Kremenchuk shopping center on June 27 was highly likely a Kh-32, "an upgraded version of the Soviet era Kh-22 ."

"Although the Kh-32 has several performance improvements over the Kh-22, it is still not optimized to accurately strike ground targets, especially in an urban environment. This greatly increases the likelihood of collateral damage when targeting built up areas," the ministry said.

According to the report, further strikes on June 30 in the Odesa region likely involved Kh-22 missiles. "These weapons are even less accurate and unsuitable for precision strikes and have almost certainly repeatedly caused civilian casualties in recent weeks," the report said.
