Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed another Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the Izium direction

The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov said in his statement on Telegram, that Ukrainian troops shoot down Russian Su-34 aircraft near Izium

"On the situation in the Kharkiv region as of March 27. The shelling of Kharkiv continued last night, with the occupiers firing long-range weapons about 15 times. Last night, Kharkiv rescuers extinguished fires caused by the shelling of the occupiers in the Moskovsky and Slobidsky districts," Syniehubov said.

Armed Forces of Ukraine have already shot down several Su-34 bomber fighters in the Ukrainian skies. For example, on Saturday, March 5 an enemy fighter of this type was shot down by a ground-to-air missile in the Chernihiv region. Both Russian pilots managed to eject. One of them - major Krasnoyartsev of the Russian Air and Space Forces - has been captured.

As General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, from February 24 to March 27, the Russian army lost about 16,600 people, 582 tanks, 1,664 armored personnel vehicles, 294 artillery systems, 93 MLRS, 52 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 121 aircraft, 127 helicopters, 1,144 vehicles, 7 ships/boats. Data are being updated. The calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities.
