A delegation from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine visited to Spain this week with various objectives, including getting acquainted with the capabilities of the local defense industry. During their visit, the Ukrainian border guards engaged in discussions with Spanish government officials, including Defense Minister Margarita Robles.
The primary aim of the Border Guard delegation was to explore potential equipment and weaponry offerings from the Spanish defense industry to bolster Ukrainian border security. According to Infodefensa, the Ukrainian representatives expressed interest in a wide spectrum of support, ranging from logistical transport and evacuation vehicles to small arms and armored vehicles for combat support.
