As the Financial Times reports, Oleksiy Reznikov, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, in a letter to the countries of the European Union, requested the supply of 250,000 artillery ammunition to Ukraine per month.
According to Reznikov, currently Ukraine uses an average of 110,000 155-mm rounds per month. In the event that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not limited to this number, the entire ammunition that the Ukrainian military could release on the occupiers per month would amount to 594,000.

• the minimum requirement is more than 11,800 shells per day (more than 356 thousand shells per month);
• full ammunition - almost 20,000 shells per day (or almost 600,000 per month).
Regarding the capabilities of the Russian Federation in terms of artillery ammunition, Reznikov provides the following data - in total, the occupiers use four times more ammunition per month than the Armed Forces of Ukrine fire 155-mm ammunition, i.e. 440,000, or an average of 15,000 ammunition per day.
