The other day it became known that the Defense Forces of Ukraine received a batch of new long-range AQ 400 Scythe kamikaze drones by Terminal Autonomy, which have a range of 750 km. In these new Ukrainian drones, the concept of creating an affordable and massive weapon of destruction, which could be used to attack objects on the territory of the russian federation, was actually implemented.
As confirmed by the drones manufacturer, they have been used for attacks, but the details of when and where these drones were used are currently not disclosed. However, Terminal Autonomy told Forbes a number of other interesting details about its AQ 400 Scythe UAVs. In particular, it became known how much such a drone costs. Details on production rate of the UAVs were also revealed.

The Terminal Autonomy notes that the cost of the basic variant of this UAV is about 15 thousand dollars. Taking into account "recommendations and additions", that is, the internal "stuffing" of the drone, the price can rise to approximately 30 thousand dollars.
At the same time, the company notes that the overall costs can be reduced - the possibility of a joint "swarm" of drones is envisaged, in which the "master" drone is accompanied by nine inexpensive basic variant ("slave") drones that are following it to еру area of a target to hit.
The company also reports that, according to the new contract for the supply of AQ 400 Scythe drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the supply rate will initially be 50 units per month, and by the second quarter of 2024, production will increase tenfold to 500 units per month.
However, as the Terminal Autonomy notes, this indicator is not final. Currently, the company has set itself the goal of reaching a production rate of 1,000 drones per month. However, achieving such an indicator will take more time.
