Newly released video shows multiple cruise missiles lifting off ahead of the strike on the GRAU arsenal near Kotluban

Footage released by Denys Shtilierman, co-owner and chief designer of Fire Point LLC, has drawn particular attention following the confirmed February 12 strike on the GRAU arsenal near Kotluban. Unlike standard post-strike clips showing explosions at the target site, this video centers on the launch phase of the FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, offering a rare glimpse into the operational deployment of Ukraine's domestically produced long-range weapon.

The video captures Ukrainian FP-5 missiles being prepared and launched under nighttime conditions. The launches appear coordinated and deliberate, suggesting a pre-planned strike package rather than a single isolated shot.

The visual confirmation of multiple missiles supports the assessment that the attack was designed to saturate or overcome russian air defenses protecting the strategic ammunition depot.

Particularly notable is the apparent configuration of the launch setup. The missiles are deployed from a ground-based platform, reinforcing previous assessments that FP-5 missile is designed for flexible basing and mobility.

Such an approach complicates enemy detection and preemptive targeting, as launch platforms can be concealed, relocated, and operated outside traditional airbase infrastructure.

The target itself, a major ammunition storage facility under russia's Main Missile and Artillery Directorate, underscores the strategic intent behind the strike. Destroying or damaging such depots can generate secondary detonations, disrupt supply chains, and force redistribution of stockpiles farther from the front line, increasing logistical strain.
