The Ukrainian Armor company increased the volume of supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of 122-mm shells for 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems as well as for the D-30 Soviet-made howitzers.
Projectiles of this caliber are extremely necessary for the Ukrainian army and are used every day at the frontline, they are manufactured in cooperation with one of the ammunition holdings of Eastern Europe. The press service of the Ukrainian Armor company announced this on its Facebook page.

At the same time, the press service quotes the words of the general director of the Ukrainian Armor company Vladyslav Belbas that "the company managed to establish systematic serial production and significantly increase the production volumes of 122 mm artillery ammunition."
For the first time, the Ukrainian Armor company reported on the delivery of 122-mm artillery shells to the D-30 and 2C1 Gvozdika artillery systems for the Defense Forces of Ukraine in August 2023.
At that time, it was noted that the Ukrainian military received the first several thousand high-explosive fragmentation rounds with a full charge. Even then it was reported that the production of these artillery munitions took place in cooperation with one of the munitions holdings of Eastern Europe.
