During the NATO summit in Vilnius, Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, signed a memorandum with 11 colleagues on the creation of a coalition for the training of F-16 fighter pilots.

The head of the ministry thanked the Kingdoms of Denmark and the Netherlands for their leadership in this process.

“I am particularly grateful to Denmark and the Netherlands for their outstanding leadership in this process,” Oleksii Reznikov said.

According to the minister, the memorandum states that Ukrainian pilots, technicians and support personnel will participate in the training program.
There is also the possibility of including other types of fighters in the program. The coalition is ready to consider other ways of providing Ukraine with full functional capabilities of the F-16.
