Russia can’t meet the needs for artillery rounds and missiles. The production can’t keep up with usage

Russia has 30% of stocks of artillery rounds, it runs out of rockets and сan produce maximum 40 cruise missiles per month, according to major general Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Ukraine.

“They produce much less than they use. They will never expand the production to the level where it can be an artillery war. Russia is not Soviet Union. They feel it and understand. It’s a fact,” major general Kyrylo Budanov claims.

According to the chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Ukraine, there is no confirmed cases of purchases from North Korea. Russia has a trial batch of 20000 artillery rounds from Iran, but it’s nothing in comparison with the number of shells that the russian federation uses every day.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine has been launching 5000-6000 rounds per day, while russia has been using 60000 units as of the begging of summer 2022. Russian artillery fire level reduced by 75% in some areas in January, 2023.

“They produce 20-22 Kalibr cruise missiles per month and 15 or sometimes up to 20 Kh-101 cruise missiles. That’s why the intensity decreases. Initially, we had massive missile attacks every Monday, then every 8 days and once in 10 days, 2 weeks now,” major general Kyrylo Budanov states.

Russia doesn’t have production facilities and can’t catch up on lost 30 years in a year.
