Ukraine’s and Western media are actively writing about Xi Jinping’s order to prepare China for war. Namely, the leader of the People's Republic of China announced the military budget increase by 7.2% in 2023, also reduce dependence on grain imports, and most importantly, in one of his speeches, he publicly called on the generals of the People's Liberation Army to "dare to fight."
Such reports caused the effect of something like an "information bomb", but here we are actually talking about the consistency of China in its aggressive policy. At the same time, the neighbors of the People's Republic of China are also consistently preparing to repel Beijing's aggressive intentions. First of all, the island of Taiwan, also known as the Republic of China, which is now the number one target for the communist regime.

To begin with, the military of the Republic of China assumes that the PRC will plan a combined operation to attack the island, with the simultaneous aviation and the navy strike, under their cover the landing forces will try to take control of the seaports and other transport infrastructure necessary to receive new landing waves.
The course of China's operation against Taiwan will directly depend on whether the Chinese paratroopers will be able to occupy the seaports in the first hours of the invasion, or whether the pace will be lost, and the communists will have to go to the blockade of the island and "fight on the beaches".

Based on this configuration, the Taiwanese military in early March 2023 announced its intention to acquire more Stinger MANPADS and M142 HIMARS systems in order to more flexibly and effectively strike at enemy invasion forces. But this tactical configuration, which the Americans have already nicknamed "the porcupine tactics", comes not only from progress in operational art, but also from stagnation in the American military industry as well.
Because of that, the government officials of the Republic of China had to deal with the fact that the delivery period of some very important weapons worth up to 19 billion dollars will be prolonged, namely the question of modernized F-16’s, M1 Abrams tanks, Harpoon coastal missile complexes and MQ-9 Reaper drones. Taiwan will have to "stand in line" for the opportunity to buy the NASAMS air defense systems and GLDSB missiles.

Moreover, in mid-March 2022, Taiwanese parliamentarians decided to amend the local legislation on the legal regime of martial law. It will allow the authorities of the Republic of China, in particular, to take full control of local telecommunications resources and infrastructure, prosecute for the spread of fakes, and what is most interesting – to involve pupils and students in the production of "defense products".
The opposition initially opposed it, perceiving this as an intention to drive teenagers to work in military factories. The authorities replied that it was only about permission to engage pupils and students for the production of things like dry rations. But both options of "mobilization of labor resources" actually look logical, because in the event of the island blockade, Taiwan will essentially be isolated from the outside world, in particular, from the supply of any aid from the allies.

And in response to the next aggressive maneuvers of the People's Republic of China around the island, on March 20-24, 2023, the Republic of China held joint aviation and navy exercises. The program of these exercises is not disclosed, stating that the Navy and Air Force of Taiwan trained to act as one unit during future battles with the Chinese. It is also known that these 4-day training will be a "prologue" to larger military maneuvers by Taiwan.

Moreover, the activity of Communist China may indicate that the PLA has already moved directly to plan an operation to invade Taiwan.
