Colonel Volodymyr Rochniak, head of the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Arms and Military Equipment, emphasized that the approvals encompass more than just tactical vehicles or pickup trucks: "We're talking about a wide range of equipment critical to the Defense Forces," according to a press release from the ministry on October 9.
The approved models include modern electric and gasoline motorcycles, ATVs, hexacycles, all-terrain buggies, amphibious vehicles, pickups, tactical combat vehicles, fuel tankers, cranes, mobile repair shops, backhoe loaders, technical assistance vehicles, evacuation trucks, mobile bath and laundry units, and various types of trailers and semi-trailers.

It was highlighted that over half of the 175 new vehicle models were approved in the third quarter. Notable new domestic models include the innovative silent Atom Military electric motorbike, six-wheeled Polaris hexacycles, the TAHA amphibious vehicle, the TAHA 3400 ten-wheeled ultra-high-terrain vehicle, and the Varan ultra-low buggy, among others.
This year, foreign vehicles approved for use by the Defense Forces include MAN, IVECO, and SCANIA trucks, VOLVO and DAF tractors, as well as PEUGEOT LANDTREK, TOYOTA HILUX, and MITSUBISHI L200 pickups. Additionally, CAT 428 backhoe loaders and DAEWOO pyrotechnic machines have also been approved.
