The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received the first 2 Galaxy Trident T8 rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), Serhiy Prytula reports in Twitter.
The 8-meter boat has an engine of 400 hp and it is capable to carry up to 12 paratroopers at the speed of over 44 knots. Moreover, both of boats will be equipped with 2 Browning heavy machine guns, navigation systems, radio communication and sonar.

“The boats are manufactured at one of the Ukrainian shipbuilding companies. Six domestic [Ukrainian] enterprises are involved in the design, development and production of boats,” Serhiy Prytula notes.
The Galaxy Trident T8 rigid inflatable boat is a new development presented in 2023. The boat is being sold by BRIG MOTORS (Ukrainian company that sells and maintain watercraft).
The Trident 8 boat is an incredibly powerful and maneuverable RIB that allows the use of special, diving, scientific, rescue and patrol equipment and its load capacity is 1.5 tons, the company states.
