The manufacturer produced 2 to 4 howitzers per month before. Nexter Systems plans to release 8 guns per month by the end of 2023, reads the report.
It is a great example of how 24/7 schedule can speed up the process using only existing production facilities, without a need to waste time and resources on full expansion.
It seems like 8 units per month isn’t a lot, but France has had 76 CAESAR guns in total as of 2021.

In conclusion, it will take 9,5 months to complete orders for French army, 2,5 months for 19 CAESAR self-propelled howitzers for Denmark. Also contracts with Belgium, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Morocco for 144 units will take 1,5 years.
