Tankers of the 32nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces performed a dangerous maneuver as well as destroyed dozen russian occupiers by direct fire. Сrew returned alive with only minor damages

The defenders of Ukraine abruptly moved to positions of russian invaders near one of the villages on the front line using the T-64BV tank. This was reported by the Operational Command North on its Telegram channel.

Ukrainian tank drove out of sharp turn of a forest road, without giving the occupiers time to react, made a shot.

Later, the tank was returning to station under heavy russian mortar fire. However, thanks to the skills of Ukrainian servicemen, everything ended up with minor damages.

"After successfully completed task, men did not even think about rest. During the second task, they fired invaders` position, which was occupied by russians," the statement reads.

The T-64 tank series is a backbone of Ukrainian armored mechanized forces.

Ukrainian State Concern «Ukroboronprom» modernized the T-64BV tank twice in 2017 and in 2022 on Kharkiv Armored Plant State Enterprise as well.

After the last modernization, the T-64BV has been equipped with new third-generation surveillance and sighting units, anti-accumulation sternward bar armor, and rubber shields on the tower. Also, the vehicle got an improved fuel system and additional armored protection of fuel tanks.

Defense Express reported that russia had produced armored vehicles using steel from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
