National Guardsmen captured the Gryphon 12 reconnaissance drone in the Donetsk region

As mil.in.ua reported, the fighters of the Dnieper Brigade of the National Guard used anti-drone rifles to suppress the Russian reconnaissance UAV.

The means of muffling drones are now required no less than small arms or artillery at the front.

The Dnieper Brigade is armed with Ukrainian ANTIDRON KVS G-6 anti-drone rifles from Kvertus.

The KVS G-6 supperses the drone control channels, effectively blinding the opponent. As a result, the operator loses contact with the aircraft. Control systems are unable to carry out commands, and the camera is no longer able to transmit videos and images.

It blocks the frequencies of remote radio control, video transmission, GPS navigation within a radius of up to 3 km. The distance is affected by the signal strength and location of the operator.

One battery lasts for 25-30 minutes of operation. The remaining charge level is displayed on a special indicator. The total output power is 80 watts.

Previously, National Guard fighters succeeded in drowning out the Russian Gryphon 12 drone of the PLAZ company in the Donetsk region. They managed to do this with the help of KVS G-6.

The system is designed for real-time surveillance of the terrain at a range of up to 90 km.

The drone conducts reconnaissance using a video camera with a 1920×1080 resolution, or a thermal imager with a resolution of 640×512.

It is stated that the Russian drone has a maximum height of 4000 meters.

The power part of this UAV is represented by a single brushless electric engine, which is able to maintain the flight of the device for 3 hours, at a maximum flight speed of 120 km/h.
