The Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, confirmed the advance of the Defense Forces in the Tavria direction.
"We are moving forward! The Defense Forces in the Tavria direction have advanced by more than one kilometer," the Commander wrote on Telegram.

The losses of the russian troops in the Tavria sector over the past day reached 226 people: 72 invaders were eliminated, 149 were wounded, and 5 were taken prisoner.
During the day, artillery units completed 1,391 fire missions.
Ukrainian defenders destroyed 27 pieces of russian military equipment: 3 tanks, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 artillery systems and mortars, 2 multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), 9 drones, 5 vehicles and 3 units of special equipment.
Additionally, 6 russian ammunition depots were destroyed.
