Ukraine's Special Operations Forces have destroyed a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the village of Rozdolne in Crimea, targeting a key logistics route used by russian forces to support military operations in the south of Ukraine.
According to the SOF, the operation was carried out by Middle Strike units in cooperation with members of the Resistance Movement operating inside temporarily occupied territory. The bridge served as a strategic transportation link for moving military cargo, supplies, and equipment across Crimea.

The structure is an important component of russia's military logistics network. The route was reportedly used both to transport resources from mainland russia through Crimea to forces deployed on the southern front and to sustain military infrastructure across the peninsula.
During the first phase of the operation, SOF drones conducted precision strikes against the bridge during the night of June 21-22. The attack destroyed sections of the railway track and caused the collapse of one of the bridge spans, rendering the crossing unusable.
The damage significantly disrupted rail traffic along the route and forced russian authorities to initiate repair efforts. However, Ukrainian resistance operatives continued monitoring activity around the site and reported the arrival of specialized railway repair equipment.
This intelligence paved the way for a second phase of the mission. During the night of June 22-23, Ukrainian drones struck the repair vehicles that had been deployed to restore the damaged crossing.
The follow-up attack also targeted the remaining bridge structure, further complicating russian efforts to reopen the route. By striking both the bridge and the repair assets, Ukrainian forces sought to extend the disruption of a key supply corridor.
