The Defense Intelligence’s units, including the Artan, Kraken, and International Legion groups, successfully liberated a large forest area north of the village of Lyptsi in Kharkiv region.
The mission resulted in the capture of key russian defensive position and the destruction of three motorized rifle battalions, the Storm detachment, and the reconnaissance company of the 7th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of russia’s 11th Army Corps. Ukrainian forces also took additional russian soldiers prisoner, which could help facilitate the return of Ukrainian POWs.

The operation cleared 400 hectares of forest, significantly worsening the situation for russian forces in this area. Notably, the infantry of the Khartia13th National Guard Brigade participated in the assault with minimal casualties, highlighting the strong coordination between Ukraine’s special forces and regular units.
This success sets the stage for further Ukrainian advances in the north of Kharkiv region, pushing russian occupiers closer to defeat.
