Ukrainian soldiers of the Roniny unit of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade successfully destroyed a russian BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launcher system

The enemy had "buried" the combat vehicle in almost open terrain, seemingly hoping that its location, deep in the rear on temporarily occupied territory, would be out of reach for Ukrainian drone operators.

Uragans are now rare targets on the battlefield, mainly due to russia’s limited supply of 220mm rockets.

Additionally, these systems are challenging to detect, as they operate at significant distances from the front line and follow a tactic of quickly leaving the firing position after each strike to evade Ukrainian counter-battery fire.

Last month, Ukrainian soldiers from the Roniny unit also destroyed five russian infantry fighting vehicles near Tokmak using FPV drones.
