Municipal workers in Ukraine recently discovered a suspicious object in a forest belt, prompting an immediate call to emergency services. Responding swiftly, a pyrotechnic unit from the Mobile Rescue Center for Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived at the scene.
Upon inspection, specialists identified the object as the warhead of a self-targeting submunition from the RBK-500 cluster bomb, an explosive device commonly used by russian forces. Given the potential danger, sappers followed standard procedures and safely neutralized the munition on-site.
