The wreckage reveals crude design made of plywood and plastic

Fighters of the Khyzhak Brigade from the Patrol Police Department successfully downed russian Molniya strike drone, further exposing the aggressor’s reliance on crude and cheaply made UAVs to terrorize Ukrainian cities.

A video shared on social media showcases the remains of russian drone, revealing its extremely primitive construction compared to more advanced Iranian-made Shahed drones. The footage highlights that the Molniya drones are assembled from low-cost materials like plywood and plastic, underscoring their disposable nature.

“The Molniya drone. This is all that’s left of it. Essentially, just plastic,” the patrol officers commented, displaying the wreckage.

Despite russia’s continued use of drones to attack Ukraine, this successful interception further demonstrates Ukraine’s ability to counter enemy UAV threats and adapt to evolving battlefield challenges.
