Ukraine's long-range drone operations continue to expand, with the Nemesis 412th Brigade demonstrating its ability to strike deep behind russian lines. In a combat video released on April 14, the unit showed a coordinated night attack targeting concentrations of enemy equipment far from the front line.
According to the brigade, its heavy strike drones hit russian vehicle staging areas located dozens of kilometers from the line of contact in the Zaporizhzhia direction. These rear-area sites are critical for sustaining frontline operations, as they serve as hubs for transport, resupply, and preparation of offensive actions.

The reported results point to a notable disruption of russian support capabilities. Ukrainian operators destroyed three armored fighting vehicles, six trucks, as well as engineering equipment and personnel. While the numbers may seem limited, strikes on logistics targets often have a wider impact than direct battlefield losses.
The operation also relied on coordination between different units. One phase was carried out in cooperation with a drone unit from the Defense Main Intelligence, which provided reconnaissance and confirmed the results of the strikes. This ensured both accuracy and accountability in the engagement.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Artan special unit is playing a central role in ongoing operations near Stepnohirsk on the Zaporizhzhia axis, where Ukrainian forces are conducting a coordinated effort to de-occupy and clear the settlement. The operation is being carried out in close cooperation with other elements of the Active Operations Department and the broader Armed Forces of Ukraine.
