A crew operating the Leopard 2 main battle tank from Ukraine's 155th Brigade has eliminated remnants of russian infantry attempting to establish positions on the eastern outskirts of the village of Hryshyne.
Footage of the combat operation was released via the official channel of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, providing visual confirmation of the engagement and its outcome.

According to available information, кussian forces managed to infiltrate the settlement following a failed mechanized assault in the same sector earlier last week. After the unsuccessful attack, small groups of enemy infantry sought to regroup rather than withdraw entirely.
Some of the russian troops attempted to use residential buildings and auxiliary farm structures as cover, aiming to conceal their presence and potentially maneuver into the rear of Ukrainian defensive positions.
Through coordinated action between the 155th Brigade and adjacent units operating within the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps, the enemy elements were detected in a timely manner before they could consolidate their foothold.
To neutralize the threat, brigade command decided to deploy the Leopard 2 tank crew. The decision reflected both the urgency of the situation and the suitability of armored firepower for engaging fortified positions within built-up terrain.
The tank crew delivered precise fire strikes against enemy positions concealed inside residential houses and outbuildings, effectively destroying the remaining russian infantry and preventing further attempts to destabilize Ukrainian defenses in the area.
As Defense Express previously reported, fighters of the Bulava Unmanned Systems Battalion of Ukraine's 72nd Brigade have reportedly struck russian TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system on russian territory for the first time since the start of the full-scale war. The strike took place in russia's Belgorod region, marking a significant escalation in Ukraine's use of unmanned systems against high-value targets beyond its borders.
