New photos of military equipment provided by Germany were published on the General Staff's social media. The pictures show Leopard 2A4 covered in reactive and non-reactive additional armor and the Bergepanzer 3 evacuation vehicle.
The tank in the photos looks very similar to the one that got previously caught on cameras and spread in open sources this July. This makes it difficult to assess whether it is a typical pattern of reinforcement Leopard 2A4 tanks in Ukraine or a coincidence showing the same vehicle.

Although thanks to Welt, we can see that, in contrast, a Leopard 2A6 which came back damaged after engaging in combat was not reinforced with reactive armor like this.
The General Staff of AFU detailed that the Leopard 2A4 tank belongs to the 33rd Mechanized Brigade. This unit was previously mentioned as involved in counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian forces in Melitopol direction, southern Ukraine.
These new photos confirm Defense Express' earlier overview of the armor kit used on a Leopard 2A4, with the focus being on the sides of the hull and turret protection from the front and the sides, with characteristic screens of polymer on the"skirts" of the turret and the gun mantlet.
One of these photos also exposes the framework midway through the process. We can see there is empty space between the outer layer of additional protection in front of the turret and the tank's basic armor.
