Servicemen of the 102nd Independent Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine shoot down a russian Molniya attack drone using an FPV drone

The video was posted on the brigade's Facebook page.

"During combat duty, the UAV interceptor unit of the 102nd Brigade demonstrated exceptional skill in an air battle. Thanks to the well-coordinated work and high-precision control of FPV drones, our warriors managed to destroy several enemy UAVs in the sky. The drone interceptor operators responded immediately to the threat based on the video interception data. The successful strike on the Molniya kamikaze drone, sent by the enemy to our positions, was particularly significant. The precise aerial bombardment left the enemy 'wing' no chance to break through our defenses," the statement reads.

The video shows a Ukrainian UAV approaching the russian drone and finally striking it.

Molniya is a russian strike drone capable of covering a distance of 40 km. It is made of plywood and plastic. In terms of size, it is a cross between a large drone and a Shahed attack drone. Such a drone can carry a warhead weighing three to five kilograms. With these drones that russian occupiers are terrorising Kharkiv and other frontline territories of Ukraine.

Earlier Defense Express reported Ukrainian Border Guards had shot down russian Shahed drone with small arms.
