The State Border Guard Service released a video of the incident on February 1, showcasing the nighttime engagement in Sumy region. Fighters from the Steel Border mobile fire group engaged the UAV with rifle fire, ultimately bringing it down.

“After being hit, the target caught fire, lost altitude, and crashed in a field, causing no harm to the local population. Accuracy saves lives,” the defenders emphasized.

This event highlights Ukraine’s continued resilience against russian aerial threats, showcasing the effectiveness of mobile fire groups in countering enemy UAVs.
