The russian military air defense base on Mount Ai-Petri in Crimea was damaged in a morning missile attack, resulting in casualties, including the commander of the military unit, as reported by russian media.

At approximately 6 am, multiple missiles, likely of the Storm Shadow type, targeted the 85683 military unit stationed on Mount Ai-Petri in Crimea. This strategic location houses a secret air defense base belonging to the 3rd Radio-Technical Regiment of the Armed Forces of russia.

The missile strikes caused significant damage to the military base, leading to casualties among personnel. Alexander Kulakov, the commander of the 85683 unit, was among those killed, along with another serviceman. The number of wounded personnel is currently being estimated.

Initially, the Ministry of Defense of russia stated that all missiles were successfully intercepted during the morning attack.
