Ukrainian pilots are not just learning to fly the F-16s, they are actively practising combat maneuvers for air and ground targets. The training goes beyond basic flight skills. As the spokesperson for the Air Force Command Colonel Yuriy Ignat emphasized, “They need to engage in combat.”

Ground personnel are also undergoing extensive training. They are learning the intricacies of servicing the F-16 aircraft, maintaining their armaments and even programming them for optimal performance.
