​Ukrainian Drones Wipe Out russian Air Defense Systems in Zaporizhzhia Region

On the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian scouts dealt a crushing blow to valuable russian air defense systems

This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

"The strike drone operators of the Active Operations Department of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine detected and destroyed the russian invaders' valuable air defense systems in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region," the statement reads.

According to intelligence reports, the following systems were destroyed as a result of the operation:

  • Buk-M3 air defense missile system,
  • Imbir radar,
  • Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system.

The video shows a Ukrainian drone maneuvering to evade an anti-aircraft missile and accurately hitting its targets.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian occupiers have lost 1,185 air defense systems since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft had conducted precision strike on russian UAV command post in Zaporizhzhia region.
