The aerial reconnaissance unit of Ukraine’s Khyzhak Brigade detected russian Irbis mobile radar station mounted on a KamAZ truck chassis. Ukrainian strike drone operators subsequently attacked the radar and struck it again after a vehicle, likely carrying a russian repair team, arrived at the site.
The Khyzhak Brigade published footage of the operation on its social media page, showing two successive attacks.

The first strike was carried out by operators of the brigade’s Baton strike drones. The unmanned aerial vehicle hit the Irbis radar station, damaging the system.
After the initial attack, a passenger car arrived near the damaged radar. According to the Ukrainian unit, the vehicle was likely carrying russian personnel tasked with repairing the equipment.
The Khyzhak operators then launched a second attack, targeting the damaged radar station again. The strike also hit the vehicle positioned nearby.
The Irbis is a mobile radar system, and its deployment on a KamAZ chassis allows it to be transported by road. Mobile radar stations support battlefield surveillance by detecting and tracking potential aerial threats, making them important assets for russian forces.
