The Brigade shared footage showing the destruction of russian system transporting ammunition across the battlefield

Fighters of Ukraine's 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade have destroyed russian ground robotic system that was transporting ammunition to frontline positions. The Brigade published footage of the strike on its official channel, showing the moment the robotic platform was detected and blown up.

According to the unit, the target was a small unmanned ground vehicle used by russian forces for logistical tasks near the line of contact. These systems, while limited in capability, allow russia to move ammunition or supplies with reduced risk to personnel, a tactic increasingly used as Ukrainian surveillance and strike capabilities grow.

In the video, operators from the Brigade's aerial reconnaissance unit identified the UGV as it moved along a route. Once confirmed, the drone pilots adjusted their munition and executed a precise strike, triggering a powerful secondary explosion caused by the ammunition the robot was carrying.

The brigade noted the symbolic nature of the hit, "Boom! We blew up the robot. The pilots of the 63rd Brigade epically destroyed the occupiers' ground robotic system transporting ammunition."

The explosion also indicates that the robot was likely loaded with a significant amount of ordnance, making its destruction a tactically valuable target.

Russian forces have attempted to expand the use of simple remote-controlled logistics platforms, particularly in high-risk zones where vehicles or infantry face constant observation and drone attacks. However, these systems remain vulnerable to Ukraine's dense drone reconnaissance network, which can track and eliminate even small targets.

As Defense Express previously reported, the Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a coordinated strike on two key infrastructure sites located in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk region, using the FP-2 systems. According to official reports, Ukrainian drone units targeted the Zuivska and Starobeshivska thermal power plants, both of which have been used by russian forces to support military activity in the region.
