Operators of the Signum Unmanned Systems Battalion have released footage showcasing another successful counterbattery operation against russian artillery.
The released footage shows russian artillery positions concealed inside prepared revetments and covered with piles of tree branches in an attempt to evade aerial reconnaissance. Such camouflage has become a common tactic as russian forces try to reduce losses from Ukraine's rapidly expanding drone capabilities.

According to the battalion, however, these concealment measures proved ineffective. Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance operators were able to detect the hidden artillery positions.
Once the enemy guns had been identified, strike drone operators quickly moved into action. The video captures precision drone strikes targeting the concealed artillery systems.
In a statement accompanying the footage, the Signum Battalion emphasized that no camouflage is sufficient to deceive its aerial reconnaissance teams. The unit noted that after identifying the targets, strike drone operators ensured the artillery pieces would no longer be able to fire on Ukrainian positions, providing at least temporary relief for frontline infantry.
