Ukraine’s Military Shot Down Not Less Than 5 russia’s Cruise Missiles on Tusday

The missiles were downed with MANPADS as well as anti-aircraft missile systems

It is according a statement of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its official page on Facebook.

“Today, June 14, between 12.20 and 13.20, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down three cruise missiles (probably Kalibr-tipe) launched across Ukraine from the Black Sea.

One of the missiles was destroyed by MANPADS in the area of responsibility of the Air Command Center, two missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft missile systems in the area of responsibility of the Air Command "West" of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” – the statement reads.

As for the missiles the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi posted on Telegram that one of Russian missiles has been downed over Zolochiv, Lviv Region, leaving four civilians injured, including a child.

“Our anti-aircraft defense units shot down a Russian missile over Zolochiv. Its fragments fell onto a brick factory. At the moment we know that four civilians were injured, including a child. According to doctors, the condition of those injured is mild to moderate,” Kozytskyi wrote.

Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces downed an enemy missile over the town of Zolochiv, Lviv region.

Several enemy missiles also were downed over Ternopil region.

"According to preliminary information, the Air Defense Forces have just downed several enemy missiles over Ternopil region. Specialists went to the crash site. So far, no casualties or damages have been reported. The information is being clarified," Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Trush posted on Telegram.

Moreover, a Russian missile was shot down in Khmelnytskyi region.

"According to preliminary information, the Air Defense Forces have shot down an enemy missile today," Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration Serhiy Hamaliy posted on Telegram.

According to Hamaliy, the fragments fell in the field, no damages to buildings have been reported. The search for the crash site is currently underway.

At the same time Operational Command South states that two Oniks cruise missiles were shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units over the Black sea this morning.

“The aggressor continues to fire missiles at Odesa Region. This morning two Oniks cruise missiles have been launched from the Bal coastal missile system deployed in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot them down over the sea,” – the report says.

The enemy continues to keep four missile-launching ships and three large landing crafts in the Black Sea. The threat of 32 cruise missile strikes from the sea is persisting.
