Ukraine's Defense Intelligence has reported the results of a coordinated operation carried out jointly with the local Resistance Movement in the temporarily occupied city of Berdіansk. The strike led to significant losses among russian personnel and damaged several military vehicles positioned deep inside temporarily occupied territory.
The operation took place late on November 19, 2025. At approximately 22:20 Kyiv time, a group of russian National Guard servicemen gathered casually under a propaganda billboard at one of the entrances to Berdiansk. Surveillance footage released by Ukrainian intelligence shows the moment their conversation was abruptly cut short by a powerful explosion.

Preliminary assessments indicate that the blast killed five members of russia’s National Guard. An additional four were severely wounded, underscoring the continued vulnerability of russian rear-area forces even in urban zones they consider secure.
Beyond personnel losses, Ukrainian intelligence reported notable equipment damage. Two pickup trucks used by occupying forces were rendered inoperable, while russian Tigr armored vehicle also sustained significant damage in the blast. For a formation responsible for policing and rear-area control, such losses highlight growing pressure on russian logistics and force protection.
As Defense Express previously reported, operators from the Requiem Group of the Balista unit within Ukraine's Special Operations Forces have conducted a successful strike on russian territory, destroying two KOP-2 electronic warfare systems, according to a video released on November 28.
The operation marks another precise and highly coordinated Ukrainian action aimed at degrading russia's battlefield awareness and drone countermeasures.
