That was stated by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Hromov at a briefing on Thursday, Ukrinform reports.
“This morning, four Tu-22M3 strategic aviation aircraft of the aggressor country launched an airstrike on the territory of Ukraine from the airspace of Belarus," Hromov said.

At the same time, he did not specify which settlement was targeted by an airstrike from the territory of Belarus.
Hromov added that the previous use of aviation from the Belarusian direction took place on August 28.
As earlier reported, the russian army fired seven missiles at the city of Zaporizhzhia on the morning of October 6. The missile strike destroyed two multi-storey residential buildings had killing one woman and injuring seven persons. As many as 21 people have been rescued.
