The two hundred-twelfth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military invasion continues. Ukraine’s troops continue their efforts to liberate russian-occupied territories, to inflict losses on enemy

Russia keeps shelling civilian houses and other infrastructure objects in various regions of Ukraine. The threat of air and missile strikes remains high across Ukraine.

Over the last 24hours russia launched 4x missile and 27x air strikes, and conducted more than 75 MLRS attacks on civilian and military objects across Ukraine, thus violating rules of International Humanitarian Law, and laws and principles of war.

That is according to the Ukraine’s General Staff operational update on the state of warfare as of 06.00, on September 23, 2022.

Russian attacks and indiscriminate shelling caused damage to the infrastructure of more than 45 settlements, including: Pechenegy, Pryshyb, Yarova, Spirne, Vesele, Bakhmut, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, Neskuchne, Poltavka, Yehorivka, Bezymenne, Kryvyi Rih, Biloghirya, Zaporizhzhia, Bilohirka, Pervomais’ke, Mykolaiv, Ochakiv, Vysokopillya, Sukhyi Stavok, Myrolyubivka, and Novogrigorivka.

Key points of the report:

Volyn and Polissya axes: the situation the has not changed significantly.

The enemy kept employing tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery to shell civilian and military infrastructure on other axes too, namely:

Siversсhyna axis: in the areas of Shalygine, Myropils’ke, Volfine, and Uzdets’ke settlements of the Sumy oblast;

Slobozhanschyna axis: in the areas of the settlements of Dubnivka, Hoptivka, Vovchansk, Kamianka, and Kup’yans’k;

Kramatorsk axis: Mayaki, Mykolaivka, Dibrova, Kryva Luka, Pryshyb and Sivers’k;

Bakhmut axis: Soledar, Bakhmuts’ke, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve, Vesele, Bilohorivka and Yakovlivka;

Avdiyiv axis: Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka;

Novopavlovsk axis: Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, Neskuchne, Vremivka, Novoukrainka, and Velyka Novosilka;

Zaporizhzhia axis: the enemy did not conduct any operations, but kept shelling at the same time shelled the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Nova Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaki, Zelene Pole, Zaliznychne, and Rivnopillia.

Pivdennyi Buh axis: more than 20 settlements were shelled.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports, to replenish personnel losses the enemy continues forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, in Horlivka, on September 19, representatives of russian 1st Army Corps detained and took ten men to military service, regardless of their age or health condition.

As part of the partial mobilization measures implementation the occupying authorities of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea stated that the main number of reservists is planned to be recruited from among the employees of private security companies who have military service experience. In Sevastopol, some private enterprises have already been instructed to prepare lists of all employees according to the requirements.

The adversary continues to suffer losses, including among high ranking officers and commanders. According to the available information, commander of russian 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army, Major General Tsokov was wounded in Ukrainian attack in the vicinities of Svatove. On September 20th, 2022 he was evacuated deeper into the temporarily occupied territory.
