Ukraine's General Staff Confirms Strike on russian Arsenal Storing North Korean Shells

On October 9, Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of russia's Ministry of Defense in the Bryansk region

The operation was conducted by Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces in coordination with other components of the country's Defense Forces.

The arsenal, situated just 114 km from the Ukrainian border, was reportedly storing North Korean-made shells, according to Ukraine's General Staff.

"Based on available intelligence, the site held ammunition for rocket and artillery systems, including North Korean munitions and guided aerial bombs, with most of it stored in the open," Ukraine's General Staff reported.

Explosions were observed at the facility, prompting local authorities to close roads nearby. The full extent of the strike's impact is being assessed.

"The destruction of these arsenals poses significant logistical challenges for the russian army, severely diminishing their offensive capabilities in critical areas," the General Staff concluded.
