The results of the work of the Ukrainian warriors were shared on the web-site of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence.
"Virtuosos - DIU's "Kabul 9" unit works. The number of enemy targets destroyed by it is the best evidence of the effectiveness of the combat unit," the message emphasizes.

According to the DIU, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation to Ukraine, using its own forces and means, the "Kabul 9" special unit has destroyed:
• 12 tanks;
• 25 armored vehicles;
• 2 Su-25 aircraft;
• 11 artillery systems;
• 12 EW systems.
In addition, as the intelligence agency emphasizes, the warriors of the special unit also worked in cooperation with various operational-tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The "Kabul 9" unit’s drone operators helped locate, adjust fire, and destroy:
• 33 self-propelled howitzers;
• 16 EW and SIGINT systems;
• 24 SAM systems;
• 2 enemy command posts.
As the press service adds, DIU's "Kabul 9" special unit arose at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia on the territory of Ukraine. The unit was formed by veterans of the Ukrainian special services and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the assistance and participation of the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov.
In addition, it is reported that the name of the special unit is an abbreviation, the meaning of which is known only to its warriors.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine said also that after participating in the battle for Kyiv in Gostomel and in the Brovary direction, special intelligence agents went to the south of Ukraine, where they continue to destroy the enemy to this day.
Mortar units and sniper groups of the Ukrainian military intelligence unit also worked during the defense of Bakhmut. The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine shared a video of the work of the special unit.
