According to the report by TGrKreminna, noticing suspicious movement through a UAV camera in the area near the line of contact, an on-duty officer from the Third Assault Brigade discovered that a group of attached servicemen had not reached their destination, and communication with them had been lost. It took just a few minutes to identify the cause: the UAV operator spotted the movement of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group in a gap between trees and reported it to the commander.
Quickly assessing the situation, the battalion commander of the Third Assault Brigade ordered a rapid response team to move out, eliminate the enemy sabotage group, and rescue the captives.

Immediately boarding an M113 armored vehicle, the assault team rushed to the scene. They reached the enemy just as they were nearing their own positions. The servicemen of the Third Assault Brigade engaged the enemy in combat, pinning them down with fire. Forced to abandon the captives, the enemy had no choice but to return fire.
Quickly assessing the situation, the captives managed to escape and returned to Ukrainian positions on their own within a day.

"The brigade’s fighters attacked the enemy, eliminated a sabotage and reconnaissance group, and, as a result of the battle, not only reclaimed enemy-held positions but also freed prisoners. Among the liberated are servicemen from attached forces, including a regular officer with the rank of captain, a sergeant, and several soldiers. They are now safe and receiving medical care!" the brigade reported on its Telegram channel.

Mosya, the commander of the 1st Company, 2nd Assault Battalion of the 3rd Brigade, stated that after securing the area, russian forces were driven back, allowing the brigade to restore its position in this sector of the front.
