As a result of recent negotiations between Ukraine and Switzerland at the UMAC-2024 Conference on Mine Action, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is set to receive three GCS 200 mechanical demining vehicles. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bohdan Drapiatyi on his social media.

The demining vehicles are expected to significantly enhance Ukraine’s efficiency and safety in clearing areas contaminated by explosive devices. Two of the vehicles will be delivered by the end of 2024, with the third one arriving in 2025.

This new addition from Switzerland further strengthens Ukraine’s demining capabilities as it continues to address the aftermath of conflict in affected regions.
