The aid would be send in a framework of a new military aid package for Ukraine, totaling $2.6 billion the United States US pledge for Ukraine
That is according to Reuters, referring to three U.S. officials.

The aid package is expected to be announced as soon as Monday.
“The officials who spoke on condition of anonymity said that the dollar amount and specific equipment in the package could change, Reuters informs.
According to Reuters, "precision aerial munitions, bridging equipment Ukraine would use to assault russian positions, recovery vehicles to help disabled heavy equipment like tanks and additional rounds for NASAMS air defenses", would be included in the package too.
The aid was comprised of $2.1 billion in weapons aid coming from Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) funding. The remaining $500 million was expected to come from Presidential Drawdown Authority funds.
As Defense Express reported, the previous U.S. military aid package worth $400 million was announced on March 3.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the U.S. has committed around $32 billion in military aid for Ukraine.
